Paul Pigram is a professional artist, tutor and author of  ‘Beginning Pastel’

​Paul and his wife Kate created Bodnant Art in 2015.

​

After leaving school, Paul intended to study for a BA (Hons) Fine Art Degree. He began by attending an Art & Graphic Design Foundation Course, however his talent was spotted at the age of 17 by a leading Advertising Agency in Manchester. This led him into the creative world of Advertising & Marketing at an early age.

Paul is now a North Wales based artist, author and illustrator. He is the founder of ART North Wales, an associate partner of the Visual Artists Association and an ambassador of Unison Pastels. Paul is also the founder of the Conwy Arts Festival.

In 2017 Paul was commissioned by a leading art publisher in the USA to produce a tutorial book ’Beginning Pastel’. The book has proved to be very successful selling well in the USA, Canada, UK, Europe, South Africa and Australia.

 

In 2018 Paul and Kate created Bodnant Art Gallery above the Craft Centre at Bodnant Garden NT. Here you will find a permanent exhibition of their original paintings, prints and cards.
